Hands of Life

Founded in 2012 by Ts'epo Nkhabu, Hands of Life has donated over 300 bicycles and organized numerous events to support the youth in Mafeteng. With the support of the American Embassy, they built the region's first youth cycling center in 2020. Lesotho, with one of the highest HIV prevalence rates in the world, faces significant challenges, particularly among its youth. Hands of Life envisions a sustainable solution by partnering with organizations like Bikes for Lesotho, Working Bikes in Chicago, and the Rotary Club of Houston Skyline to ship nearly 500 bicycles. Half of these bicycles will be donated to orphanages, youth in need, and health workers, while the rest will be used for income-generating activities such as bike rentals and cycling training, supporting the youth center.
