Polar Bear Plunge
The Rotary Club of League City is preparing for our holiday fundraiser, the Polar Bear Plunge for Polio Plus, being held at the South Shore Harbour Resort Pool on Saturday, December 8, 2014 at 9 AM. Our goal is to raise $4,000 dollars for Rotary International’s Polio Plus campaign and other local community projects. The Polio Plus campaign has been making headlines lately, continuing its partnership with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the World Health Organization, just a few short strides now from eradicating polio from the world.
Please consider participating as a plunger, or as a sponsor! Traveling trophy will be awarded to the plunger who collects the most money raised for this worthy cause.
